Mom flies into a rage after flight attendants make fun of her daughter's name
When we catch a plane, anything can happen: the unexpected is always around the corner and even the most attentive of travelers could find themselves having problems. In this story, the travelers in question did not run into a "standard" problem (like missing their flight, for example).
The issue for these travelers started at their boarding gate. Read on to find out more:

Traci Redford, from Texas, is the mother of a beautiful 5-year-old daughter and they both just wanted to get on their plane and enjoy their flight home. But this did not happen. In fact, the two were subjected to mocking laughter.
The incident took place just before boarding: mother and daughter were at their gate and were showing their respective passes to the person in charge when the latter burst out laughing openly.
The reason for the official's amusement? Well, it was due to Traci's daughter's name (which was printed on the boarding pass).
The little girl's name is ABCDE, ie. the first 5 letters of the English alphabet! The pronunciation of this name would be "Ab-city", but this certainly didn't stop the officials from laughing at the unusual name.
Tracy didn't take this well at all: "Hey, if I can hear you mocking and laughing at my daughter's name, it means that she can hear you too! I'd be grateful if you would stop." Traci could not believe how she and her daughter were being treated. But Traci's outrage did little to change anything: in fact, one of the officials even took a picture of her daughter's plane ticket and then published it on the internet!
On the way home, Traci's daughter asked: "Mom, why were those people all laughing at my name?". Traci tried to explain to her little girl that not all people know how to be polite and kind.
Once the incident became public, the airline officially apologized to the Redford family and took disciplinary action against the employee who had been so rude to them. What do you think of this story?
