An amazing way to stop a getaway car!

Who among us, while watching an American movie, has not seen one of those crazy and seemingly endless pursuits between criminals and the police? Well, actually, soon those kinds of scenes might be quite different and also much shorter! 

Recently, a very effective device has been invented that allows law enforcement agents to "grapple" or rope in the getaway car and stop it in its tracks! 

This is done by using a special rope which is slid under the left rear wheel of the fugitive's car. The left rear wheel is seized by this unique device which stops the car and ends the pursuit! See here in the video how it works. . .
