The seahorse is a creature which has a thousand curious and unique features, and not only for its equine form. Unlike many other sea creatures, it is a monogamous fish and chooses its mate for life.

But surely the most bizarre feature is another! The seahorse is the only example in the world where the male of the species gives birth to their children!
