The President of the Philippines's shocking Merry Christmas message!
Tradition has it that towards the end of the year the presidents or prime ministers of each nation give a speech to the people of their country. Usually, it is a review of the year that has just passed and an encouragement for the coming year and the future in general.
However, the president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, decided to do something different this year.
When made his speech, he sent his best wishes to the criminals who live in his country by saying these words: "I'm still a human being, therefore, allow me to wish a Merry Christmas to [the drug pushers, thieves, the corrupt, the criminals] And anyone else who makes life hard for Filipinos --- if you do not stop and you continue your brutality, this will be your last . . . Merry Christmas."
A powerful statement, don't you think?
