The idea of this do-it-yourself (DIY) project was born with the desire to create a planter that contained strawberry plants but that could be exploited for any plants that you decide to cultivate.

Using one wooden pallet as an example, this girl explains how to make a rectangular planter that will allow you the luxury of not having to water the plants for a day if for some reason you cannot.

For this DIY project, you will need:

One wooden pallet with nine slats aka planks (that have not been chemically treated) 

Electric saw and drill with appropriate screws and nails
