In fact, this terrifying weather event happened on the coasts of Belgium --- in a matter of seconds! A severe storm just rolled up from the sea manifesting itself in huge dark menacing clouds complete with strong winds and thunder and lightning...

One thing is clear....it was definitely safer for everyone to stay in their homes!
