Teach your children how to save themselves from drowning!
To think that we can control at all times what our children do is unthinkable, especially when we are in the vicinity of swimming pools and the sea. Therefore, we must equip our children with every possible means of reacting to dangerous situations.
One of the ways is to teach them, even from an early age, how to survive in case they suddenly find themselves in water. The Infant Swimming Resource method deals with this dangerous situation by providing life-saving lessons that can be given to children as early as six months of age.
Children from 6 to 12 months of age, learn to turn around on their back to be able to float and breathe while waiting for an adult to arrive to save them. However, from 12 months of age onwards they are taught to swim, turn on their back to breathe and then to start swimming again to reach a safe area.
