Who will win in this fight? The Bear or the Elk?

Life in the wild follows rules that are in blatant contrast to each other. For example, there is the natural and fierce hunting instinct of a hungry bear as opposed to the very determined and fearless protection by a mother elk of her defenseless baby calf. 

In this case, there is not an established or preordained winner! It all depends mainly on how much the mother elk is willing to put herself at risk to protect her calf! 

As we can see in the video, this mother elk is ready and willing to do any and everything necessary to save her calf from the hungry bear!
