Learn how to give yourself a foot massage!
Almost all of us forget it but our feet have the important task of supporting our weight and keeping us in stable contact with the ground.
Our feet are also an effective means of healing and well-being since each part of the foot is connected to a specific organ or part of our body.
Therefore, it is obvious that taking care of your feet is fundamental. With these simple exercises, you will immediately experience relief from swollen and aching feet!
1. First, stand up, then lift the heel and bend your toes while applying a slight pressure on them. Keep this position for at least 5 seconds, and then do the same on the other foot. Repeat 5 times for each foot.
Before doing these exercises you can soak your feet in hot water and then massage them. If you do this first, then the benefits of the massage will be even greater.
2. Lift only your toes (widening them as much as possible), and hold the position for at least 5 seconds.
3. From a seated position, move forward and backward by moving your weight from the heels to the toes and then outward, always applying a slight pressure.
4. Get two lemons (or limes) and freeze them until they become hard. Then use them to massage the bottom of your feet with rotating movements.
The exercises carried out with the aid of a ball like a frozen lemon will immediately provide a wonderful feeling of relief as the blood circulation is re-activated while simultaneously and indirectly massaging the internal organs connected to each affected area.
