The test you see below was created and based on a quote from Joseph Campbell, writer, religious historian, and psychology enthusiast, who argued that: "The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek."

In the photos below, you will find represented six types of entrance ways with very different characteristics. Choose the one that makes you the most afraid and which you would never ever enter! Reflect for a moment on your choice and then go read the corresponding explanation. Have fun!

Entrance #1

Entrance #1

The abandoned house. If you have chosen this door way you probably have a very strong personality, you are brilliant and you can make very acute analyses. You have a very lucid understanding of reality and clearly defined values. The wallpaper can represent a barrier that you put between yourself and others, but the light on indicates that the shell of your isolation can be easily overcome.

What you seek is gratification on an emotional level in a relationship that goes beyond the purely rational.

Entrance #2

The descent. In this case, the dark place symbolizes burial and so if you have chosen this entrance way that means you have a turbulent relationship with the idea of death. Mind you, everybody is afraid of death, but to some this thought comes to mind much more frequently than for others.

What you seek is probably to feel good physically; so take care of yourself, eat well, walk at least 30 minutes a day and take frequent trips away from the smog in the city.

Entrance #3

The icy cave. If you chose this entrance, who are probably a very independent people who loves their space but who now fears that this part of your character will isolate you and will not allow others to approach you. So, in a nutshell, what scares you, is the absence of emotional warmth.

What you are looking for is love, not only love as in a couple in a relationship but also what a friend or relative can give, if we allow them to finally break down our barrier of ... ice.

The old and ruined house. If you have chosen this picture, then you are one of those people who have a strong attachment to your home, intended both as household and a home. Your loved ones always come first, and you would do anything to see them happy. On the contrary, a ruined house means failure and decay.

What you need is economic stability, or maybe even great wealth! However, in order to get it, you will have to work hard, especially since your innate generosity can easily get in the way.

The tunnel. Choosing this picture means that you are a very intelligent person, but you tend to think too much. This means that you often get lost in the reasoning process and due to doubts remain stuck in confusion.

What you need is confidence in yourself, which would allow you to make clearer decisions (the light at the end of the tunnel, in fact) and establish priorities that will silence your uncertainties.

Entrance #6

The blue door closed with chains. If you have chosen this one, you are a person who is very productive, creative, and able to achieve the goals that you set. You almost always find creative and effective solutions to problems, and this can put you in a leadership role in some situations.

What you are unconsciously looking for is some relaxation and a break from your busy schedule. Accepting challenges with enthusiasm is important, but sometimes it is worth it to set them aside to enjoy some well-deserved rest.
