Wine vinegar
- Neutralizes odors: Vinegar is very effective in eliminating odors from lit or unlit cigarettes. Place a container full of vinegar near an ashtray to neutralize unpleasant odors.
- Eliminates weeds: In your flower or vegetable garden, you can use vinegar to limit weed growth. To do this, put some vinegar in a small spray bottle and spray it on the weed plants.
- Makes nail polish stay on longer: Before applying the first coat of nail polish, soak your fingertips in vinegar for ten minutes. Dry your nails, apply the nail polish, and then note how much longer your nail polish will remain intact on your nails!
- Makes your hair soft and silky: Add one part of vinegar to two parts of water, spray the solution over all your hair, let it act for ten minutes, then rinse.
- Removes stains from fabrics and carpets: Pour one cup (250 ml) of vinegar into a container together with two quarts of hot water (2 liters). Apply some liquid dish detergent and the solution of water and vinegar on the stain. Let it act, then with a brush, scrub the stain and watch it slowly fade away. Vinegar is also excellent for eliminating sweat stains from clothing! Just wet the yellowed area with vinegar and let it act for ten minutes. Then rinse and the garment will be like new!
- Helps clean the bathroom: Vinegar has excellent antibacterial and whitening properties. Dilute one part of vinegar to two of water and spray the area to be cleaned. Bathroom fixtures will shine like never before!
Apple cider vinegar
- Vinegar has an anti-aging effect: Add a tablespoon of vinegar to half a glass of water and with a cotton ball dab the skin on your face. Leave for 30 minutes, then rinse.

Caution: To avoid irritation and redness of the skin, cider vinegar must always be diluted! Do night treatments to avoid direct contact with the sun, which could trigger the appearance of spots on the skin.
- Cleans the skin: Moisten a cotton ball in a solution of apple cider vinegar (1 tablespoon) and one cup of water (250 ml). Dab your face before going to sleep, without rinsing. Apple cider vinegar removes skin impurities, balances the pH, and stimulates blood circulation.
- Takes care of mosquito bites: Apple cider vinegar is a natural solution to combat itching caused by mosquito bites.
- Reduces dandruff: In a spray bottle add water and vinegar in equal parts. Wet the scalp, wrap the head in a towel, leave for 15 minutes, then proceed to rinse. You can also add some vinegar to your normal shampoo.
- Speeds up the healing of bruises: Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and let it stay on the bruise for an hour. The anti-inflammatory properties of vinegar will speed up the healing of the bruise by improving blood circulation.
