What animal is this?

Nature, with its diversity, often saves us little surprises. The Pygmy jerboas is a small rodent that lives mostly in the desert areas of Central Asia, inhospitable environments in which it has adapted to survive. Its weight and its peculiar physical features make it a small miracle of evolution.
