And yet there are remedies, like the simple and effective one that we propose here below!

  • WD-40 (a water repellent and lubricant product)

  • a toothbrush 
  • Q-tips (cotton swabs for the ears)

1. First of all, put some cardboard under the fabric with the stain to be removed, to prevent it from staining the fabric on the other side. Next, spray the area with WD-40, or dab it with Q-tips (cotton sticks) so as to better distribute the product to cover the whole stain.

An extra tip? If the grease or oil stain is fresh you can immediately put some talcum powder on the stain! This will absorb a good part of the oil stain which in turn facilitates the subsequent washing by hand or in a washing machine.
