Firefighters save lives without making any kind of ethnic discrimination, let alone 'species'.

Kittens, puppies, ducks or any other animal remain trapped on a tree or victim of sewage drains, these metropolitan heroes always come into action to help them.

This is what happened in this beautiful story that comes from the United States, where a team of firemen saved what was apparently a litter of 'dogs'.

Firefighters receive every kind of call. They are not limited to extinguishing the fire, they often receive requests for help for animals that need help. From kittens trapped on a tree, up to ducks stuck in the sewer pipes, firefighters from all over the world always run to the rescue of all the 'species'.

It is the case of these firefighters in Colorado Springs, USA, who received a distress call for dog puppies trapped inside a manhole cover. When they arrived, the men actually found black puppies all alone, which were immediately brought to safety by Brian Vaughan and his team. Along the way, the small animals were counted and checked one by one, before being taken to the Human Society of the Pikes Peak area, to find out what they were and for a check-up.

Once checked by veterinarians, the doctors immediately realized that it was not about the black Labrador puppies, as the firefighters thought. But they were red fox cubs! In fact, the cubs of this species of fox are very similar to puppies, as it assumes the characteristic color only later. The police were amazed by the news immediately reported the puppies where they were found, so that the mother could find them (a volunteer is left to watch them: if the mother does not return, will be entrusted to a recovery facility).

Surely a nice surprise for the fire department! Below you can find the video of the rescue of the fox cubs transmitted by the US television station CBS.
