Feng Shui is an ancient philosophy of Chinese origin, which aims to establish equilibrium in the spaces inhabited by people, mainly in the home, in order to infuse positive energy that can be used in other activities.

According to Feng Shui, the objects we keep at home can somehow influence our emotional and psychological stability.

There are, in particular, some objects that we would do better not to have around us. Here is a list, with explanations.

  • 1. Empty bottles: Finished containers and packages of any substance (drinks, creams, detergents, etc.) should not be kept in the house.
  • 2. Withered flowers: Flowers are good for the people who live in a house because they improve the environment and transmit positiveness. However, once wilted, they must be thrown away, so as not to produce the opposite effect.
  • 3. Broken jewelry: Perhaps this type of object is kept at home for the value it has, but according to Feng Shui, it should be either gotten rid of or repaired. In general, all old, worn, and shabby objects transmit negativity.

  • 4. Things left half finished: Everything project that has been interrupted for some time and that you do not really want to complete does not produce good energy. On the contrary, it dampens enthusiasm and productivity.
  • 5. Duplicate items: Even copies of the same object are frowned upon by Feng Shui. Give one away!
  • 6. Old clothes: In regards to one's wardrobe, there should be only clothes that are used, while all others should be donated or recycled.

These are some of the Feng Shui principles that should be followed to live peacefully at home, absorbing only positive energy. Will you try to follow this advice?
