An ingredient widely used at home, both in the kitchen and as a natural product to clean and deodorize dishes and surfaces, white wine vinegar also has numerous other little-known qualities and uses.

Not everyone knows that vinegar can reveal itself to be a real wellness elixir for foot care!

By soaking your feet in warm water with the addition of this miraculous liquid, foot fatigue is relieved and skin imperfections are eliminated.

1. It is very effective against the athlete's foot.

Soak your feet in warm water after adding 1 tablespoon of table salt and ½ cup of white wine vinegar. At the end of the footbath, you need to rub the affected part with a cotton pad soaked in vinegar and let this area air dry. This method prevents the skin from itching and peeling. This procedure should always be adopted after consulting a doctor.

2. It is an excellent fungicide

Heat the water to a pleasant temperature, add 1 cup of white wine vinegar and soak your feet for 15 minutes. This natural yet effective solution will reduce nail bacterial proliferation and will also serve as an antifungal. For definitive treatment, it is always better to consult a doctor.

3. Reduces fatigue

After a long walk, you can easily and effectively relieve any pain and soreness by preparing a footbath containing: 1 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of Epsom salts, ½ cup of dried lavender flowers and 1 cup of sea salt. To prepare it you just need to heat (to a bearable temperature) enough water to fill a plastic wash basin, add the ingredients, and mix.

4. Treat blemishes

Vinegar can reduce or even eliminate small skin problems such as calluses and cracked heels. The necessary ingredients are 7 quarts (7 liters) of warm water, a pumice stone, 20 drops of lavender essential oil, and 1 glass of white wine vinegar.  Soak your feet for about 15 minutes, then use the pumice stone to remove dead skin and smooth the critical areas well. It is advisable to apply a moisturizer only after your feet have been well-dried.

It seems incredible that a little white wine vinegar can be a remedy for so many problems, yet often the simplest things are the most effective!
