They get married in jeans and a t-shirt to show that weddings do not have to be expensive
Who said you need lots of money to get married?
If there is love and the desire to be together, you can easily understand how money is of absolutely secondary importance.
Certainly, one's wedding day is a special occasion to show off the most beautiful wedding dress or an elegant suit, but, in some cases, it seems that the central point of the occasion is somewhat overshadowed.
As a matter of fact, the important thing is not to spend a day in "pomp and pageantry" and (above all) in waste, but to share the joy for such a happy event, with loved ones.
To prove this is this couple of newlyweds, who gave up the idea of dressing elegantly and got married in jeans and a t-shirt!

Rebecca Maxwell, 26, and Glen Maxwell, 30, happily got married in simple clothes. Very simple: jeans and a T-shirt. These are really unusual clothes for weddings compared to what we are used to seeing.
The young woman wore a white T-shirt with "Bride" printed on it, black pants, and white converse sneakers. Her husband, on the other hand, wore a black T-shirt with "Groom" written on it, a pair of jeans, and dark sneakers.
The young woman explained the reasons for such a modest wedding, by starting with the preparations: "Our guest list was getting out of hand. You feel like you have to invite people because you don't want to upset them by not inviting them, rather than because you actually want them there with you."
After days spent looking for inspiration for decorations and clothes, the couple opted for personalized t-shirts and asked all the guests to wear jeans.
Before getting married, the two newlyweds had a baby girl named Eleanor. Initially, Rebecca had bought a beautiful wedding dress, but after her pregnancy, she realized that it was no longer what she wanted.
It is at that moment that Glen suggested that they get married in simple clothes when he said: "I would love you even if we got married in jeans and a t-shirt!".
And that is exactly what happened! They both do not like doing things in a big or an expensive way - so, all that really matters is being together.
