One of the worst aspects of anxiety is that it makes you believe you are a burden on others
Anxiety is our body's natural response to stress. Sometimes, however, it becomes uncontrolled and can cause discomfort and suffering in a person's life.
In fact, when anxiety takes over to influence inordinately your daily life choices or makes you avoid doing something for fear of the consequences, then it could be a problem.
Anxiety makes you feel like you are a burden. And when you feel this way, you do not want to send messages to your friends, even if you are dying to go out, because you are afraid that perhaps they have no real desire to be in your company.
Therefore, you never make the first move, because you think that they will judge you for this and even paying for groceries at the checkout makes you feel "performance anxiety".
Consequently, this is how anxiety can make you feel - as if you were a bore or a nuisance to others.

Many believe that it is your personal choice to feel like this and "that you have no real reason", without realizing that it is not really you talking, but your uncontrolled anxiety.
This is the type of anxiety that invades every area of your life and leads you to avoid socializing due to possible rejection or judgment.
You believe that you are not good enough and that you are looked at as if you were an outsider or even as if you were invisible ― or at least that is what you perceive.
Furthermore, within a relationship, anxiety does not help you, because it makes you feel like you are the only one who is always worrying about everybody else. It also makes you wonder why someone should be nice to you and renders every moment away from home a very difficult challenge.
Anxiety causes you to feel unimportant and often makes you feel like you do not have the right to express your opinion. As if nobody wants to hear what you have to say.
Moreover, you always think twice before speaking, because you know you could say the wrong thing and that worries you a lot.
But, when you finally feel ready to speak, the topic of the conversation has already changed and you have lost your moment to participate. In addition, anxiety makes you feel underappreciated.
When you live in anxiety, in the long run, you think that perhaps you have never really done anything useful in your entire life. You feel like you have never been successful and as if you have never achieved any of your dreams.
If you are not careful, anxiety will definitely take over and make you believe that, after all, you have a good mediocre life - so, you do not deserve anything else or anything more.
The worst part of anxiety is that it can make you feel unloved, unimportant, and not appreciated. But you must never forget that it is anxiety that is playing a bad joke on you. In fact, it is not true that others are thinking horrible things about you.
Please remember: No one is judging you and no one hates you.
