A young boy paid for a meal for a tired elderly street vendor at the end of his workday
When young people show respect to the elderly, this is an indicator of the level of civilization of a society.
Unfortunately, today we often hear in the news about incidents that do not take this form of respect into consideration.
And sometimes, it can happen that we even see it with our own eyes in episodes that occur in everyday life.
Fortunately, however, there are exceptions! In fact, in Mexico, a child paid for a meal for an elderly man who sells popsicles on the street, who was visibly tired at the end of his working day.
This young boy was with his mother in a local eatery when he saw an elderly street vendor, weak, and tired, evidently at the end of his work.
The child's sensitivity was struck by the elderly man and the little boy immediately felt compelled to do something for him.
He asked his mother if he could give the man the 40 dollars that he had just won in a Mexican lottery, and she gave him a positive response.
The boy approached with the money and the man thanked him by giving him some of the popsicles that he sells on the streets.
But the boy still felt he had not done all he could for the man. So he asked him what he wanted to eat and ordered it from a waiter.
When the man started eating, then suddenly the boy, sitting at his table with his mother, started to cry. His mother asked him why he was crying and she heard him answer: "The look on his face, Mom, he is eating and really enjoying his dinner."
At that point not even his mother was able to hold back her feelings: "Sometimes, I cannot say who gave life to whom! If I gave birth to him or he, to me. And sometimes, I wonder if I am doing a good job as a mother, but actions like these give me the answer."
The gesture of this young boy has moved thousands of hearts that have been impressed by his spontaneous kindness. The world always needs acts of kindness like this!
