Man humiliates his wife in front of family after telling her that her post-pregnancy body doesn't look good in a bikini
Women who are mother's know all too well the toll that pregnancy takes on a female's body. The transformation a woman's body goes through while pregnant is not only physically tough but psychologically draining. In just a few months, women take on a body shape they never knew they could have and some of these bodily changes (e.g. stretch marks, belly fat) never go away. Completely insecure of themselves, many look to their husbands to reassure them they are still beautiful. Some husbands, like the one in this story, are no help and are better off saying nothing at all.

Our story takes place on Reddit, a social network site where people can post about whatever is on their minds. One man decided to tell the internet what he thought of his wife's post-partum body, which had many female reddit users in an uproar. His post stated, "This Memorial Day, our family decided to have a barbecue by our outdoor pool. My wife gave birth to our youngest daughter about 7 months ago, and this was the first time that our family has gotten to have fun together. My sister (26) and my mother, who are both staying in our guest house, came over and brought my 6 year-old nephew as well." He continued to mention that everyone was having fun, until his wife came out in a bikini.
According to the husband, his mother came over to him and told him to tell his wife to change out of her bikini. Apparently, a 40-year-old woman wearing a bikini in her condition was "tacky", especially since his daughter was planning on posting pictures of the family cookout on Instagram.
The man goes on to say that his wife was not very receptive to the family's objection of her wearing a bikini. After asking her to change into a one piece, his wife called him a misogynist, claiming it was the worst thing he could have said to her, especially after just giving birth only 7 months ago. The woman rightfully left the pool party and then went on to move all of her clothes and belongings into the baby room.
Many female reddit users criticized him for not standing up for his wife in front of his family. He was also criticized for the comments he made about how his wife should get a tummy tuck because he was no longer attracted to her post-partum body. It goes to show that some men just don't get it. We can only hope that he'll treat his wife better, otherwise her next move will probably be out of the house!
