A teenager continues to misbehave at school: his father goes to class and sits next to him as punishment
If there is a period of life that remains engraved in the memory, it is adolescence. It remains etched in the memories of any individual, but perhaps even more so in those of the parents. Between physical and psychological changes, and roller coaster moods, you never get bored.
This volatility is not only manifested at home but also outside, for example at school. Of course it takes understanding, but also resolve, otherwise you risk the acquisition of bad habits.
For Denise and Bradley Howard, an American couple, it has been their turn to try this “exciting experience”. Their 17-year-old son Brad had been showing the clear symptoms of "teenage rebellion" for some time.
One moment he was Mom and Dad's sweet baby, the next a lazy boy with the desire to cause trouble. His teacher had already warned them several times about his unruly behavior.

During one of the usual father-son discussions, Bradley ordered the boy to get back in line, otherwise he would have to take action. If he didn't stop causing trouble in the classroom, Bradley would show up at school in person and sit next to him. Brad sadly did not take the warning seriously, and continued as usual. Thus the day came to move from words to deeds, and to turn that threat into a promise. One Friday when Bradley was off work, he went to school and as threatened he sat at the same desk as his son.
The unusual gesture was immortalized in a photo that the father himself took and posted on Facebook as a reminder and a warning for the future. For Brad it was a rather unpleasant and embarrassing experience that he will certainly not forget for a long time!
