This heroic teenager saved a mother and her 3 children by pulling them out of a burning car
There are people who have an innate, wonderful and very practical ability to know how to act with courage and level headedness at the most critical times, those who can make quick and decisive decisions at times in which perhaps people's survival is at stake.
Think for example of fires: if we witnessed a fire, panic would be a completely normal reaction, and it is precisely in those situations that clarity and courage make the difference between a happy ending and tragedy. Justin Gavin, the teenager who was at the center of a heroic rescue when he found himself faced with a burning car, with a mother and her three children on board, knows something about this.

We are in Waterbury, in the US state of Connecticut. Justin, an 18-year-old from this town, was walking around like on any other day when he couldn't help but notice a car catching fire in the middle of traffic. The young woman driving, in the car with her three children aged 1, 4 and 9, had not noticed what was happening, despite the other drivers trying to draw her attention to the smoke and flames.
It was then that Justin chased the car on foot and managed to stop her. Acting swiftly and decisively, he opened the doors and rescued the four occupants of the car. It only took a few moments for the vehicle to be completely engulfed in flames.
It goes without saying that without the providential intervention of this young man, it could have ended much, much worse for the mother and her 3 children. So much so that, to officially and publicly praise the courage shown by this heroic boy, the US City Police Department awarded him a medal.
“It was pretty scary: I didn't know if I would be able to get everyone out in time. I guess my instincts took over" said the heroic teenager commenting on the terrible incident which befell the family. All that remains is to hope that we always have someone like Justin around, ready to sacrifice themselves and help others without hesitation.
