The strange story of a 33-year-old man trapped in the body of a teenager: he stopped growing at 14

There are many people who, despite getting older, manage to keep themselves young both in spirit and in form, but this young Russian has definitely exceeded all human limits. Denis Vashurin would seem to be a middle school boy of 14, maximum 15 years, but in relaity he is 33! How is this possible? It's not surprising that he is described by the Russian media, and now also by international media, as "the man who does not age", because of his appearance. Denis himself declared that he has to constantly prove his age, showing documents in all sorts of situations. His is a really curious case!

Denis comes from a small village in the Russian region of Krasnoyarsk and at some point in his life he realized that his appearance would remain that way forever: a man "imprisoned" in the body of a 14-year-old boy. For him, life is certainly not a walk in the park, especially because he always feels compelled to prove his age. While he was in school it was absolutely not a problem, but in his late teens the gap between him and his classmates became evident at one point. It was difficult for him to accept the fact that physically he would never become an "adult", but today he is able to live happily in the tranquility of his small village. Despite the doubts and curiosity, Denis never turned to specialists to understand what was behind the unusual functioning of his body.

Being an adult but looking like a teenager can cause various problems and inconveniences. Once, a traffic inspector stopped him believing there was a minor driving the car. Denis is rather discouraged and uncomfortable in always having to give explanations to everyone - for this reason, he says he lives quiety in the small world of his village, where everyone knows him and no longer asks him any questions. Denis has a girlfriend and loves to spend his free time fishing, hunting and in nature, often away from other people.

 His story seems to be a very rare if not unique, case!
