Love is blind and knows no age, it's true, but we still can't help but be perplexed when we are faced with relationships between two partners with an incredible age difference. We are not talking about 15 or 20 years of difference, but 51! That's right: fifty-one years of difference between a groom and a bride is really a long time, don't you think? Yet, between 29-year-old Terzel Rasmus and 81-year-old Wilson, things seem to be going well. Probably the couple are often the victims of criticism and prejudice, to which the young woman is always ready to respond by demonstrating the great love she feels for her elderly husband. In addition, her parents and relatives 100% support this unusual union, aware of Terzel's choice.

The two lovebirds met in 2016, during a public event neld by a local newspaper, and a "spark" immediately fired between them. 29-year-old law student Terzel says she greatly appreciates the "wisdom" and experience of her much older husband, while he, at 81, has always wanted a younger wife who could take care of him in his old age. Terzel is delighted with her relationship with Wilson and she claims that he is the perfect lover, who always gives her the maximum of attention. The two seem to have found their soul mates!

In 2020, her parents gave their blessing and agreed to the marriage. To celebrate their love, they organized a discreet ceremony, with a few close friends, including Wilson's eldest daughter, 56, who attended as a witness. The couple live together in Cape Town, South Africa, and seem delighted with their choice.

The day Terzel and Wilson met, she was attending an event alone; Wilson thought the girl wanted some company and found the courage to approach her and ask if he could sit next to her. The two then exchanged phone numbers and she invited him to another event the next day. Then, the following day, they met again for a coffee and, at that point, their fate seemed already written. She herself stated that she felt she was in a relationship, albeit unofficial, adding, "This is my first long-term relationship and I never considered having a serious one until I met Wilson."

Certainly it's an unconventional relationship, but we cannot judge, from the outside, a story in which such important feelings are at stake.
