A teacher cuts a student's hair without parental permission: the father goes on a rampage
Dear parents, if you are the mom or dad of a beautiful little girl you know perfectly well that her hair plays a fundamental role in her identity, in the way she sees and appreciates herself and how her little peers see her. Most girls, by simple Western convention, prefer to wear long hair, sometimes wavy, sometimes curly, sometimes tied and styled in very beautiful tails and braids. The important thing is that our daughters feel good with their look.
But often, a sudden and unauthorized haircut can plunge our daughters into great despair and make them cry out of embarrassment. This is more or less what happened to Jurnee Hoffmeyer, a 7-year-old girl who had her beautiful long hair cut neatly by her elementary school teacher for no reason. It all started when one morning, while her little girl was on the school bus, she had a few braids shortened by a classmate; obviously, the cut had been a little irregular and it needed a fix, and so dad Jimmy had decided to take his daughter to his regular hairdresser to fix the rather "amateur" haircut done by a classmate ..
Everything seemed to be going very well, Jurnee seemed to have accepted her new haircut right away, but the real drama would happen at school the next day. That afternoon, Jurnee had come home in tears and with another brand new cut, completely different from the one the hairdresser had done the day before: the little girl revealed to her father that her teacher had cut her hair like that. The little one was embarrassed, so much so that she didn't want to go back to school looking like that.
Dad Jimmy said: "After the teacher cut her hair, she was so embarrassed, so embarrassed; that's because she had to go back to class in that way ..."
Although Jimmy asked the school for an explanation of the incident that made his daughter cry so terribly, a precise answer never came, even if the school officially apologized to the father and daughter; after all the embarrassment she had felt in the classroom in front of her friends, Jurnee now attends another elementary school ...
