Having children is one of the most rewarding and wonderful experiences for a parent, right? Quite right. But what happens when the situation starts to get not so wonderful? Children are certainly an incredible gift - we must always care for and protect them, at any cost! - but in a parent's life they can also become an incredible source of trouble! Especially when they are very young, mum and dad have to watch them with a hundred eyes: they could inadvertently hurt themselves with things in the house, or ... they could ruin forever a very expensive object that you had not adequately protected from their clutches! A mother was desperate after discovering that her 5-year-old daughter had drawn on her new white Chanel bag with a blue marker - a bag costing € 2,300!

Imagine the terror of this mother who, after spending a small fortune on a Chanel bag, had it completely ruined in a few moments by an unwitting 5-year-old girl. Her little girl must have mistaken her mother's white bag for a perfect untouched canvas, ready to receive her great work of art. The woman, desperate, turned to a "bag clinic", The Handbag Clinic, where some experts managed to solve the problem, restoring the bag to its original state, or almost. In a video on TikTok, the clinic clearly shows the whole process by which, patiently, the bag was returned to it's previous glory. Alcohol-soaked cotton swabs, wipes and whatever else to remove that awful blue ink! Eventually, the clinic used a particular pigment which, applied to the bag with what looks like an airbrush, saved the day.

When you have belongings that are so precious or that you particularly care about, it is good to store them carefully and keep an eye on them, especially if you have small children at home. This mother shared the video on TikTok, sparking a flood of ironic comments: "I hope you returned it. And I don't mean the bag" is just one example of how many have jokingly suggested to her to "return" her daughter to the store! Other significant comments were: "Guys, remember that children don't really understand the value of things and they don't know what common sense is. If you can't understand it, maybe you better not have children." Another user added: "You shouldn't have children if you care so much about material things."

What do you think? In any case: watch out!
