A woman becomes pregnant at 62 despite menopause and an infertile husband: "It was a blessing"
There are couples who would give anything to have children and who, perhaps for medical reasons, cannot conceive, while there are many others who don't seem to have to try too hard to start a family. And then, there are very rare cases like that of Jenny, a 62-year-old woman, and her husband who, despite their advanced age and supposed infertility, "miraculously" conceived their third child. What's incredible is the fact that Jenny had her last period 16 ago, just before going through the menopause. At the same time, her husband, a 72-year-old man, had opted for a vasectomy. With these facts in mind, Jenny's third pregnancy was a real miracle.

Imagine the astonishment of finding herself pregnant at 62, despite having been through the menopause, and with a 72-year-old husband who had undergone a surgical sterilization procedure. The chances of getting pregnant were very low for Jenny, known on her social media profile as "the good wifey". The woman is engaged in answering questions from other mothers on the net and claims that while people often permit themselves to challenge her with phrases such as "maybe you are too old to have a child", her husband receives much more appreciation and encouragement for being able to conceive a child at over seventy.
Jenny was therefore criticized by some people for choosing to continue with the pregnancy despite her very advanced age, while many others offered their support. "There's nothing wrong with being an older mom. I'm so happy for you," we can read in the comments; and again: "I had my children at 24, 26, 28, 30, 37, 40, 43 and 48. All blessings at any age". Another mom shared her thoughts: "I'm pregnant with twins and I'm 42. I had my fifth child at 40. My body says what it can do. I don't pay attention to anything else."
Of course, the problem of being "elderly" parents arises as children grow up and we realize that we are no longer able to hold them in our arms or to share certain more "youthful" activities with them. But what will certainly never change is the love with which two parents take care of their children.
And so...congratulations to this unique family!
