Elderly man gives Christmas gifts to the garbage collectors in his area to thank them for all their work

The gesture of great kindness that the elderly man made, was immortalized on the web thanks to a short video published by his niece, Naylin del Villar, on TikTok. In the moving images, we see the elderly gentleman who is continuing a long-held family tradition - to give gifts to the most needy of people and to those who worked tirelessly all year round without ever stopping or taking a rest on holidays.
This year, it was the turn of the garbage collectors to become the beneficiaries of the elderly gentleman's kindness. In the video, published by the man's granddaughter, you can see how he is waiting on the side of the road for the arrival of the garbage truck with the three garbage collectors on board. When the truck stops in front of him on the sidewalk, the generous grandfather approaches them and gives them three Christmas gift bags. This was a splendid and unexpected gesture of kindness but, above all, it was a act of generosity acknowledging these tireless workers who, silently, continuously and largely going unnoticed, keep the streets of the cities clean every single day.
In the video it is possible to see the faces of surprise and great gratitude that the garbage collectors feel when they understand that the kind, elderly man was there to give them those gifts for Christmas. The granddaughter, Naylin del Villar, explains that this is a tradition which her grandparents have always practiced, even when her grandmother was still alive.
In the description of the TikTok video, the granddaughter wrote: "My grandfather gave some Christmas presents to the garbage collectors. They were very happy, and clearly they didn't expect to get such a surprise. My grandfather is the best grandfather in the world!"
And how can we not agree with the proud words of the granddaughter about this extraordinary elderly man?!
