She gives her boyfriend a kidney to save his life and he leaves her a few months later
Life can be really unfair at times, but you have to know how to react even in the face of catastrophe. A young woman decided to donate a kidney to her boyfriend, after discovering she was compatible, in order to save his life. This would seem to be a story with a happy ending, in which love conquers all, but unfortunately this is not the case. Some time later, the boyfriend confessed to having cheated on her and her forgiveness was meaningless: three months after her organ donation, he finally left her by phone.
This is a story that leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but that makes us reflect on the type of person we choose to share our lives with. The subject of this story has nothing to reproach herself for, but let's hope she doesn't make a similar "mistake" again in the future.
What would you do if the love of your life suffered from a serious health problem and you were able to help him? Probably, you would do whatever it takes without thinking twice. And that's exactly what Colleen Le did when she found herself having to choose between having her boyfriend die of severe kidney failure, or turning into a donor and saving his life. The boyfriend had started having kidney failure as early as the age of 17 and now he absolutely had to undergo an organ transplant to survive. Colleen, after some deep thought, decided to take the test to see if she was compatible as a possible donor: to her surprise she was! At this point, the girl underwent the surgery and, fortunately, everything went well for both of them. It would have been a story with a happy ending if it had ended like this, but sadly Colleen discovered that the boy had cheated on her during a trip to Las Vegas. Faced with his betrayal, Colleen reacted like anyone who discovers that she has been betrayed. But eventually the young woman told him that she forgave him after much discussion. Unfortunately, Colleen was able to then advance and enjoy her love story with her boyfriend, because 3 months after giving him her kidney, he left her.
The boyfriend left her in the worst possible way, telling her she gave him a kidney only to look like a good person in other peoples' eyes. The sad phone call ended with: "If we are meant for each other, eventually God will bring us back together." After that, the ex-boyfriend blocked her on all social media networks and she never heard from him again.
Colleen later shared her story on TikTok, where she received an avalanche of messages filled with love and solidarity from users. "You have THE biggest heart of all and he couldn't even see it ... he's the one who's losing out" says one user, while another added: "How hateful ... I hope you'll be able to find someone who worships the ground you walk on. You deserve nothing less. "
