Finding yourself in a hostile work environment can be a real nightmare when you consider that a person, on average, spends most of their time in the office or in contact with colleagues. It is true that we need to be lucky, but we must also be able to face difficulties as calmly as possible - otherwise we risk ruining our entire working lives. Arguing with bosses or colleagues is normal and, sooner or later, it will happen to everyone, but taking revenge on them after accumulating a burning hatred is certainly not professional behavior.

In Japan, a man was stopped by the police on suspicion of being the architect of a very pernicious and childish revenge: the man was ordering home deliveries in the name of a colleague he could not stand. And, of course, he chose the payment on delivery option.

Pay attention to relationships with colleagues, because you never know which nerves you might touch. A newspaper in Japan reported the bizarre stroy of a man who allegedly took revenge on a co-worker through a series of in-home delivery orders in his name. In a nutshell, the man started ordering an incredible amount of ramen, or noodles in meat and vegetable broth, on behalf of his colleague and, of course, having it delivered to his address. If you're wondering how he made this evil little plan work, it's simple: he chose the pay-on-delivery method. The first order consisted of 130 servings of ramen, for a price equivalent to € 230 euros ($ 263 dollars)! The colleague was shocked by the order and, of course, rejected it. Shortly after, however, the company that had carried out the home service had a second order placed from the same address and at that point became suspicious.

Once they contacted the police, it was relatively easy to trace the man who had devised the diabolical plan. The man in question admitted that he was the one who took revenge on his colleague in that way. The colleague, on the other hand, had already received random food orders in the past that had surprised him - but the food was almost always pizza or sushi in those cases. The police will now investigate whether the perpetrator of these two distinct episodes is the same or not.

Are your relationships with co-workers any less strained?
