Their wedding day is always highly anticipated by the spouses and is always very organized, right down to the smallest detail. And in fact, there are many who want to organize "a perfect day" in the name of love and sharing. The preparation involves the guests, the choice of the dress, the location, the menu for the reception, seating arrangements and much, much more. The bride is usually the one who cares the most about the choice of her dress, of course. What happens when the groom, on the other hand, does not care about these niceties and shows up at his wedding in casual clothes? This happened at the wedding of Catherine Nicholson, who was beautifully dressed in white, while her future husband was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

Sharing a video on TikTok was Catherine Nicholson's "best friend", 16-year-old Violet Price from Doncaster, UK. And this video has exceeded one million views for a very specific reason: it is not every day that you see a beautiful bride in a white wedding dress, walking to the altar with a guy in jeans, a T-shirt and tennis shoes. This is how the groom turned up in church: in a "Palm Angels" brand T-shirt and gray, washed-out jeans!
The video actually begins with a very different scene from the one in the church. Catherine and her friend Violet were at the fair and on the rides (on the Ferris wheel), and their mantra at the time was that they "wouldn't fall in love" with anyone that summer. "My best friend told me a couple of months ago that she didn't want us to fall in love with anyone," wrote Violet in the blurb describing the video. The video then changes abruptly and switches to with Catherine's wedding.
But it is the groom's clothes that caught the attention of TikTok users. Among the most frequent comments received were ones along the following lines: "But did he even remember he was going to his wedding?".
There are those who expressed their disgust at seeing all the effort to which Catherine had gone to to make herself beautiful and how little the groom seems to have cared about the whole event. Further, there were those who were worried about the speed in which the two fell in love and then got married. From the photos, Catherine does not exactly look like a portrait of joy and happiness. Whether it was a hasty choice or simply that the young woman was disappointed by how her husband dressed himself, we cannot be entirely sure.
Her friend Violet, however, responded to the comments, saying: "For God's sake, stop it - she's married and she's very happy. She didn't care about the way her husband dressed - she's married and that's all that matters in the end. "
