We all know how important it is to keep an eye on one's health and undergo regular checks to detect any kind of problem which may be developing. And it is exactly for this reason, that medical examinations should have priority over everything else. Nothing, not even the most important chore, family issues or any other type of commitment should distract one from this, particularly if one has a specific health problem and it is necessary to investigate its origin and find a solution.

This is exactly what the subject of our story believed - but not her husband... We tell here you what happened:

The woman shared her experience on Reddit to ask for advice on what had happened and to evaluate if her behavior was right or wrong. The first few lines of her post read: "I'm a housewife and I'm the one who takes care of everything at home, from chores to children. I try in every way not to be a burden on my husband who has a very stressful job". Some time ago, however, the woman began to feel an irritation in her eyes. She initially didn't give the matter much thought and she waited for her it pass it all over the course of a few days. But a few days later, when she realized that the problem was more serious than expected, she decided to schedule a medical examination urgently. She was given an appointment quite quickly which was lucky for her given average waiting times.

"Unfortunately," continued the woman, "my husband told me that he had invited his friends over for dinner at our house the very day of my appointment and that he needed my help in organizing everything. When I told him that I would not be able to be there, he told me to cancel my appointment, effectively minimizing my problem. Obviously I didn't listen to him and I told him it would be better to postpone the dinner ".

On the day of the appointment, however, and according to her story, her husband did something really despicable, selfish and unacceptable: he had contacted the doctor himself and canceled his wife's appointment. On finding this out, the woman said, "At that point I flew into a rage. Fortunately, I called back, reinstated the appointment and then went. In the evening, on my return, my husband was not there - he had canceled the dinner and spent the whole night out. The next day he came back sulking and kept telling me he had created a bad impression with his friends because of me. "

The woman concluded by writing: "I feel terribly guilty. I am sure that I am not a selfish person and that I have always done everything possible to please everyone. That day, I needed only two hours to dedicate to myself for a medical examination. Despite everything, I still wonder today if I did the right thing or if it would have been better to postpone the appointment and help my husband preparing the dinner ".

What do you think about this? Do you agree with her or do you side with her husband?
