The arrival of a child is always an event that is experienced with great joy by the whole family and all the friends of the new parents, but it also happens that more than just these people can feel that they are involved in the great event. This is the case of three firefighters who, in a completely unexpected turn of events, became fathers on the same day, and in the same hospital. This fantastical event stunned and amazed the entire staff of the nursing and neonatal ward at the hospital. The three firefighters work in the same barracks, and although they all knew their wives were about to give birth, they never believed it would happen on the same day for all of them.

We are excited to welcome these little ones into the world. Three firefighters from the same station become new dads...

Everyone at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center was very excited when the three colleagues found themselves in the same room with a newborn bundle in each of their arms. It was not expected that the three firefighters, coming from the same barracks, would become fathers on the same day, in the same hospital, but fate seems to have united them in this life event too. One of the three men, Michael Irive, said that when his wife went into labor and he took her to the hospital, he told the nurses: "I just want to give you a warning: two of my colleagues are on their way too!".

It didn't take long for the entire hospital to rename the three dads as "the three wonders". And this is hardly surprising as such events do not happen every day!

Now, the three colleagues are hoping that one day their children will become friends, hang out and become passionate about their own line of work.

Each of the fire-fighting fathers sincerely thanked the hospital for having treated them professionally and for making their families feel at home. "All of our doctors and nurses have been extremely kind, passionate and caring," said Kyle Dean, one of the new dads. Kyle, who is already the father of numerous children, said that now the important thing is to be able to spend as much time as possible with his children, as time passes very quickly and, sooner than one can believe, these little bundles will become adults.

For the moment, we can only send our best wishes to these fathers and their families, and hope for them a peaceful and prosperous future!
