Woman did not realize she was pregnant until the moment of birth: her baby was born in the shower at home
Pregnancy is usually a particularly happy moment in a woman's life: feeling a life growing within her and preparing to become a mother is a decidedly unique emotion. It can be accompanied by a certain fear, by some emotional upsets due to hormones and discomfort related to morning sickness, making pregnancy a real rollercoaster of constantly alternating feelings. In short, pregnancy definitely makes itself felt!
As in all things, however, there are exceptions: an Australian woman - already a mother of two other children - did not realize she was pregnant until the moment of birth, which took place while she was in the shower at home.

Dimitty Bonnet is a 28-year-old woman who went through a shocking experience, to say the least. She and her husband Jason, aged 42, already had two children: Nate and Darci. They wanted a third child but, after constantly failing, they were resigned to the idea that their family was complete as it was, and gave up trying.
And then, something truly shocking happened: while she was in the shower at 1:30am one morning, Dimitty suddenly felt the irrepressible urge to "push". At that point, a baby's head peeked out between her legs.
“I felt awful that night. I had a stomach ache, so I put the children to bed and went to sleep early too," says the woman.
At around one in the morning, however, Dimitty woke up with a strange feeling: "It was as if I needed to go to the bathroom, but I couldn't go. The pain started to get worse, so I decided to take a shower to feel better. I didn't want to wake my husband, so I kept the light off and washed in the dark. "
When she started to push and the baby's head breached, she was dumbfounded: despite this, she sat in the dark and, continuing to push, finally giving birth to the baby.
At that point, the young mother immediately shouted for her help, and Jason joined her in her bathroom and found her with the baby in her arms.
The two then called an ambulance. When the paramedics arrived, they made sure that the mother and son were well and accompanied them to the hospital, where they were kept under observation for 24 hours.
The name chosen for the unexpected newcomer is Harvey Eric Barry, after Jason's grandfather.
Until the moment of birth, the woman had had her period regularly and she had also taken a pregnancy test shortly beforehand, which was negative. She hadn't noticed anything strange at all - only on the night before her birth had she had felt a bit off.
"My weight has always fluctuated, so I didn't think anything about it when I put on a few pounds. I thought it was just a little extra weight and it wasn't that noticeable," explained the new mom. "It was such a huge shock and the first few days were a bit confusing. "
And the two little brothers? Apparently they took it very well: "My older children were so excited when we told them - especially my daughter because she always wanted to be a big sister. She is so caring and played her new role very well."
This is an incredible story that made this wonderful family even happier!
