5-year-old boy cannot attend his friend's party: two days later, his parents receive a "fine"
Parents know very well how important it is for their children to establish good friendships and how much help from them is also necessary to facilitate this happening. In fact, if two little ones play together regularly and have fun, the parents should also interact and try to get along too. Unfortunately, this is not always possible and, for various reasons, the strength of relationships can be severely tested.
This is exactly what happened in the story that we are about to tell you about here. In this case, it all started due to the absence of a child at his friend's birthday party. Read on to find out what happened:

Alex Nash and his parents, Derek and Tanya, are the subjects of this story. It all began when 5-year-old Alex was invited to his friend's birthday party. His mother and father gave him permission to go and had informed the parents of the birthday boy that Alex would attend the party. Unfortunately, they had forgotten a critical detail: that same afternoon, they had an appointment with Alex's grandparents and Alex had to visit them. So, for this reason, Alex was no longer able to go to the party and everything seemed to have ended right there - but the issue did not go away quite so easily.
A few days later, Derek and Tanya got a letter containing a fine. Are you curious to know what the fine was for? The two had to pay a fine for Alex's absence at the birthday party. This was a rather bizarre demand, if you think about it for a moment, and the couple could not believe their eyes.

The mother who had organised the birthday party had rented a space for all the guests and, a few days earlier, asked to be informed who would attend. Since they had confirmed Alex's presence, his parents were being asked to pay a penalty for the expenses incurred. Derek stated that he would never pay the €20 euros ($21 dollars) being demanded. He and his wife had not advised the woman about Alex's absence because they could not find her invitation, and they did not know how to contact her.
Despite everything, this mother has not been convinced, and she has continued to insist that Alex's parents pay the fine. She has even gone so far ast to advise them that she will be taking them to court. This is a very sad state of affairs, the fruit of a twisted, demented mind and which has had very negative consequences for the children involved. Alex and his friend, in fact, have stopped playing together now and have drifted apart.
This event teaches us one thing: every parent should put aside their pride and their demands, especially in cases like this, in order to prioritize the well-being of their child.
If nothing had happened between Alex's parents and his friend's mother, the two children would have continued their friendship, but this didn't happen. So, before acting, we should always think about the consequences - maybe they don't seem all that big to us, but for the little ones, it could be precisely the opposite.
