Man walks along the street with his dog in his arms like a baby, while his little son walks alongside
In modern times, more and more people have come to realize that pets are much more than just company - they are full family members and as such, should be loved and respected. Some manage to take this recognition to the next level, giving their four-legged friends very tender love and attention.
An example of this is the recently posted video of a dad walking with his son and dog, and which immediately went viral on TikTok.

On a regular day, some motorists waiting at the red light witnessed a rather unusual scene: a Pitbull being carried in the arms of his owner, as if it were a child. The puppy was happy to be carried, while in the meantime the man held his son by his hand, who was walking alongside his father.
A bystander could not resist the temptation to take out their smartphone and record what was happening. The video was posted on TikTok with the following ironic caption: "When the priority is your dog, not your kid". The video quickly garnered thousands of views and comments.
This incident took place in a neighborhood of Mexico City: the dog was not on a leash, so it is assumed that its owner decided to carry the dog in his arms to avoid any issues with other pedestrians. Another theory is that the dog was not feeling well and this prevented him from walking; or it could be that the owner wanted to prevent the dog's paws from getting burnt due to the high temperature of the asphalt.
For this reason, the vast majority of readers saluted the father, who was also not neglecting his son (evidenced by him holding the child's hand). "It is not a matter of priritization - this is called empathy. I would do the same. My puppies are part of my family", commented one reader.
