Family finds a python stuck in their sofa: they call a professional to take it away (+ VIDEO)
There is nothing better than relaxing on your sofa after returning home after a hard day's work. That moment of relaxation before dinner in front of the television is one of the most pleasant moments in the day, don't you think? But there is one family, in particular, who from now on, will probably treat their sofa with a degree of suspicion. In fact, this Australian family discovered that their sofa was being enjoyed by an "unexpected guest".

The family in this story are residents of Palmwoods, Australia. They discovered, to their horror, a python stuck in the their living room sofa. Being in Australia, it is not "unusual" to find reptiles in one's home. Being dexterous and lovers of hidey-holes, these creatures often find hiding places inside local homes.
In this particular case, the python had found a dark and warm place in the sofa - a perfect den for a snake. The family, shaken by the discovery, immediately called a team of experts to retrieve the animal and remove it from their home.

A company called "Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers", that specializes in the recovery and relocation of reptiles, immediately came to the aid of the family.
Reptile expert, Stuart McKenzie, soon showed up, ready to help the family: the recovery operation went very smoothly, despite the python putting up resistance. As soon as the snake was pulled out of the sofa, it was transported to the nearest appropriate releasing location in the bush.
“It was a delicate job: it took me some time because the python was so large. But in the end, I was able to retrieve it and set it free in the nearest bush,” said McKenzie.
The recovery operation was recorded on video and shared on Facebook. Fortunately, everything went well and the family was not harmed in any way. Would you have reacted the same way? What would you do in a similar situation?
