Young shop clerk admits: "I spend everything I earn on the shop's food!"
Working is essential in order to support oneself and it is usually the main source of livelihood for everyone of working age. It is not easy to find work these days - so much so that people even compete viciously for low-paid jobs. There are many monthly expenses, including utility bills, and many struggle with this burden. The subject of this story, however, admitted to spending most of her salary on treats and food in the shop where she works as a clerk. So, what is her story?
Young Alex Silva is tempted every day of her working life by the products on the shelves of the store where she is a shop assistant and cashier. Imagine working around a ton of sweets and ready-to-eat foods: tasty, easy and quick to prepare ... but very unhealthy, in the long run. On top of this, eating like this is a huge waste of money - money that could very well be saved with a little bit of budget management and proper meal planning. Alex Silva, on the other hand, admitted that she spends most of her low salary on food ... food from the convenience store where she works!
Although the cost of food from this low-cost is cheap, Alex revealed that she spends 1300 Mexican pesos, or about 66 euros, per week on food from the store (264 euros a month). As many users have pointed out, her salary is very low: 3,428 pesos per month, or an equivalent of about 175 euros per month.
