At the age of 10, this girl helps her mother give birth: she called the emergency services and followed the precise instructions of the paramedic
Children can be a lot more resourceful than we might think. Little ones must be protected, it is true, but adults often underestimate their children's abilities. Faced with an emergency situation, for example, a 10-year-old girl was able to keep calm and succeeded in helping her mother to give birth. That's right: thanks to a nurse's precise instructions over the phone, the little girl succeeded where many adults would have failed. The child's amazing feat was, of course, rewarded.

Miracle Moore is a 10-year-old girl who lived up to her name and performed a small "miracle" by helping her mother give birth. The little girl called 911, when she realized that her mother needed help. Miracle's mother had gone into labor three weeks earlier than expected and needed immediate assistance. Fortunately, a true "angel", Scott Stranghoener, a paramedic, answered call and reassured Miracle with his calm and precise instructions on what the little girl should do.
"Miracle followed all the instructions she was given over the phone to the letter! When baby Jayla was born, Miracle was there with a towel ready to dry her off and to help her to cry and to keep her warm until the paramedics arrive," Scott said.
"I knew right away that we had a serious situation," said Scott. He continued: "We have a set of protocols that we follow and Miracle followed all my instructions to the 'T' and did an amazing job."
Miracle's mother was truly grateful for her daughter's help: "She dried the baby off and rubbed her a little her back so that she would cry. Her help was invaluable. I'm so grateful."
Miracle displayed amazing courage and maturity given her age: all qualities that we are sure she will pass on to her younger sister!
