Nobody shows up to a 9-year-old boy's birthday party: Strangers surprise him with gifts and treats
Your birthday is an event that should always be celebrated: you are one year older and who knows what new opportunities will open up for you. This celebration is very important for children and try to make the day special for them. Not so for the ninth birthday of a boy from Utah, United States, who found himself completely alone at his birthday party. Luckily for him, however, the little one received the support of some local residents who became aware of the unpleasant situation.

Mrs. Rosario Lopez had organized a nice birthday party for her son Jaydenn, but unfortunately no one showed up because the little boy's birthday is on New Year's Day. His mom explained that she sent out the party invitations well in advance, but it wasn't enough. To console Jaydenn, she decided to take a photo of her son sitting in front of the cake and post the story to the neighborhood Facebook group, asking users to send Jaydenn birthday wishes.
"Obviously as a mom it breaks your heart. A mother tries to do everything possible for her children, to go that extra mile," said Rosario. The users of the Facebook group responded by asking Rosario for an address so they could send gifts to Jaydenn.
Rosario provided the contact details, and users sent treats and gifts to Jaydenn, including pastries, clothes and toys. "To be honest, I was moved to tears. I didn't expect this at all. There are good people out there," commented Rosario: "I can't tell you how grateful I am. We are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts," she added.
The photo shared on Facebook received hundreds of likes and dozens of comments: "I know what that means: my birthday is December 26th and most years, no one shows up if I try to have a party because it is so close to Christmas. I'm sending my most sincere wishes!” wrote one user.
