"Over 12 years, I have had 12 children: since I got married, I have always been pregnant"
There are many couples who want nothing more in life than to start a family and will do anything to have children. Unfortunately, not all of these couples are "blessed" by this good fortune, which is why some women often resort to any means to get pregnant. However, this is not the case for Courtney Rogers, the subject of this story, who has been pregnant 12 times over the course of 12 years. Guess how many children Courtney has today? The calculation is easily done and both she and her husband are delighted to have "brought forth" this large family.
Courtney Rogers is 38, from New Mexico, and has been called a super-mom after giving birth to her twelfth child. In fact, little Cambria was the latest addition to the Rogers family. Both Courtney and Chris didn't imagine they would have such a large family, especially since Courtney who initially suffered a miscarriage. After several attempts, however, it seems that luck has blessed this couple: Courtney has been consistently pregnant for 12 years.
Another unusual thing is that initially the couple had only sons, from 2010 to 2014; later, they welcomed 6 girls. "It's amazing how it all worked out as we had all boys at first and then we balanced it out with having girls," Courtney said. To be honest, Courtney already felt "too old" when she gave birth to her first child, Clint, at 26, and therefore she did not imagine that she would give birth every year of her marraige.
The family lives on a farm with more than 200 animals, which the children have come to love and respect. Courtney is also adept in how she manages the home and her children: during the day she homeschools all of them and by 8.30pm, she sends everyone to bed.
Such a large family needs many resources, of course, but also someone who knows how to best manage the monthly budget in order to make ends meet. To imagine the type of shopping that the Rogers do every day, during a typical meal, they consume about 24 eggs and, every day, they finish an entire box of cereal for breakfast.
