"I am so beautiful that other mothers feel threatened by me when they meet me at the nursery school"

In the age of social media, and we choose to participate, we are all subject to the scrutiny and judgement of others, and this can be detrimental: whatever we do, there will always be someone ready to criticize us. If you decide to adopt a naturalistic and comfortable look, for example, some people may consider you "sloppy"; while if you are particularly dedicated to your physical appearance, some will call you "shallow".
Raven Dixon-Biggs knows this very well. Raven is a young woman of 28, a single mom and a woman who prides herself on looking impeccable, even when she takes her two-year-old son, Remington, to nursery school.

Raven explained that she loves to be well-dress and well-presented and that her motto is "look good, feel good". Even when she went into labor, Raven was looking her best: she wore a brand new wig, false eyelashes, false nails and elaborate make-up. "I felt beautiful and when the contractions became more intense, I looked in the mirror to give myself the boost of self-confidence I needed," she said.
Raven has no problem calling herself a "glamorous mom": she spends two hours every day putting on her makeup, choosing her outfit and fixing her hair before driving her son to daycare. "Some moms feel threatened by my well-groomed appearance, but I don't care. I will never change. I will never wear jogging pants or have a messy bun and I will never leave the house without makeup on," she said.
Raven, who works as a bank administrator in Birmingham, UK, said: "I've always been like this. I didn't wake up one morning with the aim of being a glamorous mum. On the contrary, I knew how I would be all my life. A lot of moms disapprove of me just because they don't want to get up early in the morning to make themselves look good - but I have more willpower."
"People think that because I've become a mother, my priorities should change. But why would I stop wearing makeup simply because I had a child? I need it even more now to cover the bags under my eyes!" Raven stated jokingly.
What do you think about Raven's lifestyle? Do you support her life philosophy?
