In everyday life, we do many things that are generally related to carrying out our routines. Sometimes, however, we don't realize how much a small gesture could make a big difference in someone's life. We are very busy ourselves, dealing with our problems, that it is easy to forget about others.

The focus of this story is a young man who was in the subway. The young man was clearly upset: he was crying and being racked by sobs that he could not hold back. Unfortunately, his father had just passed away and the man was understandably very upset. A stranger noticed the grieving man and decided to do something for him: she approached him and gave him a candy bar.
With the candy bar, the stranger also gave the man a note that said: "I promise you that all the pain you feel now will fade away. Let out all your grief and be assured that better times are coming. Love yourself."

The grieving man was touched by the kindness of this stranger: he decided to try to track her down by recounting the encounter he had with her on Facebook, hoping his heartfelt thanks would reach her.
“I was crying so hard that I felt like I was going to pass out from the pain I was in. I had just lost my father but still had to catch the tube to go to work. That woman was so kind to me. She made it clear that life is made up of sad and happy moments, and that we must always move forward because everything passes," the man said.
This wonderful story shows how we can support each other. Doing good doesn't necessarily require great effort, so let's try to keep this in mind and reach out to those who are in need.
