This man has 6 wives: "I want a child with each one of them"
Life normally proceeds as follows: you are born, you grow up, you find the right person to share your life with and you start a nice little family - then you die. Maybe you even get a dog. It may seem a bit of a cliché, but falling in love and raising a family is one of the most engaging and positive experiences one can have: loving another person is truly wonderful.
But then why limit yourself to loving just one person?! The subject of this story believes in the power of multiples - at least when it comes to romantic partners.

Arthur O Urso, 37, is a Brazilian influencer who boasts a decent following, and not just on social media. Arthur has had 9 wives so far! He later divorced some of them and currently has "only" 6 wives: Luana Kazaki, 27, Emelly Souza, 21, Valquíria Santos, 24, Olinda Maria, 51, Damiana, 23, and Amanda Albuquerque, 28. Arthur married all these women in a Catholic church in São Paulo - even if the marriages are not binding for legal purposes.
Arthur states that he loves all his wives unconditionally regardless of which one "came first" and strives to keep them all happy: he spends several thousand dollars every month to satisfy them.
But the driver that unites this group is deeper than one might think: Arthur has asked his companions to fulfill his greatest wish.
"I want to have children with all of them: I don't want to make anyone jealous or angry by choosing who to have children with and so, I would like to have one child with each of them". To make this dream come true, the group has chosen to opt for surrogacy: "I don't want to give 'precedence' to one wife over the other and for this reason I believe that surrogacy is the best choice. I wish they could all get pregnant at the exact same moment. We had a lot of discussions before coming to this decision, but now we're excited about it and can't wait to move forward," Arthur said.
Arthur said he is prepared to spend the almost $40,000 dollars on the "baby-making" scheme: "We have received many offers, but we are still looking for the right donors".
Strange as it may be, this "little group" seems to be happy. Is this a sign that monogamy is falling out of favor in modern times? What do you think about this story?
