The bond between Kalista Hesch and her 11-year-old sister, Worthy Rigelsky, is unbreakable and made headlines on social media with their hilarious videos of them dancing and having fun at their home in Wisconsin, USA. "If I had to describe Worthy in one word, it would be joy," Kalista said of her sister who was adopted by their parents when six years ago. "She may have her moments, but 99% of the time, she is the embodiment of pure joy and happiness."
Worthy is an energetic girl who, in addition to showcasing her hair and makeup skills to millions of people on Instagram, loves to take care of others. "She's so lovable that when someone comes to visit, she picks up a brush and immediately starts brushing their hair," says Kalista.
Although she was born with Down syndrome - a genetic disease that causes intellectual disabilities and developmental delay - Worthy has shown that she has an eye for detail and is a budding perfectionist.
Kalista revealed that she and Worthy have grown closer in recent years and discovered their shared love for Instagram during a sleepover: "Worthy was standing behind me, straightening my shirt and adjusting my necklace. She did the same with my my hair and everyone loved seeing her doing so,” Kalista recalled.
"Worthy is such a huge part of my life and every time I see her, she has a big smile on her face. I'm grateful she is always by my side. I don't know what I would do without her," Kalista commented.
These two sisters are the prime example of how poweful a positive attitude can be, and that by sharing their joy, they brighten up the lives of others.
