Whether using knitting needles, crochet hooks, or just your hands and fingers (finger knitting), you may occasionally find yourself with meters (yards) of loose yarn or thread. You can try to gather it up the best way you can but most likely it will become tangled and form knots that make the yarn or thread practically unusable!

Here then is an easy trick to wind or rewind yarn or thread without creating tangles and knots! What do you need? It is simple! Just get an empty cardboard toilet paper tube, take your loose yarn or thread and go into the kitchen, plug in your electric mixer beater... and the rest is history! :)
