They tie an elephant to a tree! --- Animal abuse?! --- No, far from it! Look what happens next. . .

A baby elephant fell into a water well, and the guardians at the Sera Community Conservancy, which is a vast untouched wildness in Kenya -- managed to save him! So far so good, if it were not for the fact that the elephant calf was so small that there was very little chance that it would survive in the African savannah alone! 

Therefore, it was only for this reason that the park rangers decided to tie the baby elephant to a tree and wait together with him, hoping that his elephant family would look for him and come back to retrieve him!

After several hours spent patiently waiting - and various basins of water - their mission was accomplished! :)
