Discover an easy and quick recipe for scrumptious chocolate cake!
The microwave oven has become a valuable ally to survive daily home life. There are those who use it just to defrost or warm food, those who have learned to do without a regular stove, and some are wary about this method of cooking, but it is still practical and fast.
In fact, it can save you from many situations, such as that of finding yourself without a dessert to offer to guests. With the recipe that we present here today, the problem will be solved in just five minutes! Here's how to prepare a delicious chocolate cake baked in a microwave oven!
These are the necessary ingredients:
- 100 g flour 00
- 150 g granular sugar (regular sugar is fine)
- 100 g melted butter
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 5 tablespoons sweet cocoa powder
- 50 ml of milk
- Vanilla essence
- Smarties (optional)
Use a baking dish suitable for a microwave oven and brush the bottom, sides, and corners with the melted butter.
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the butter and sugar. Stir well to obtain a light-colored cream, homogeneous, and without lumps. You can use an electric mixer, a whisk or even a spoon.
In another bowl, sift the other dry ingredients, the cocoa, flour, and yeast. Then add the cream a little at a time.
Add the milk and mix all the ingredients well. It is important to remove any lumps, otherwise they may remain raw after cooking in the microwave.
Pour the batter into the greased baking dish, and decorate it by putting some Smarties candy on the surface.
Put the baking dish in the microwave for five minutes. Then use the toothpick test! Stick a toothpick into the cake and take it out making sure that nothing remains attached to the toothpick.
Once cooked, let the cake rest a few minutes, just long enough to cool slightly, after which you can bring it to the table! In just five minutes you have cooked a delicious dessert.
If the cake is not completely cooked after five minutes, just put it back in the microwave until there is nothing sticking to the toothpick.
A tip: Cover it with a dusting of powdered sugar, a bit of fresh cream, or with strawberry topping. . . and have a nice glass of sparkling wine!
