Shot and left to die -- but she was rescued and now she is unrecognizable!

Pumpkin is a dog that was found wandering the streets of Houston (USA). Someone had shot her with a compressed air gun loaded with plastic bullets, leaving her with her burns and abrasions.

When some images of Pumpkin were posted and shared on the Internet, her story caught the attention of local volunteers who tracked her down and took her off the streets!

However, there was a surprise waiting for them; Pumpkin was not alone. She was hiding her puppy that was very weak and covered with fleas! After long weeks of medical treatment Pumpkin was able to recover but unfortunately, her little puppy did not make it.  

Currently, Pumpkin lives with a loving family and two four-legged friends that were rescued from a dog pound! Now, all together, they will try to forget their past suffering. Have a good life!
