The friendship between Jessica and Edith was born in 2007, when the woman, Jessica began to visit a dog named Edith every day. 

Edith was always outside and tied to a dog chain. One day, Edith's owners moved away and took her with them. Consequently, for two years Jessica was not able to visit Edith until she was able to track her down.

In 2016, Edith's owners decided to give her up for adoption, and Jessica immediately took this opportunity to finally rescue Edith . . .
